Award Description

This individual award is to recognize a woman, who is employed by a member of the association, who has made a meaningful impact on the construction industry through their leadership, community involvement, career achievements, support of other women, and other notable accomplishments towards improving the industry as a whole.

Criteria

This award will be presented to an individual who is or was a member of the association.  The recipient will be approved by a vote of the MNECA Board of Directors.

1. Any representative of a member firm, in good standing, may propose a candidate by submitting a nomination that sets out the relevant particulars of the individual’s career and their noteworthy contributions.

2. Is an industry advocate that promotes construction as a career for women.

3. Exemplifies leadership as they guide teams and influences their company’s success.

4. Supports the greater community and / or our region by making meaningful contributions by way of their time, talent and/or resources.

5. Highlight their business achievements by citing specific milestones that demonstrate excellence and innovation.

6. List key initiatives, programs, and/or support that they have participated in or implemented to empower other women to join the construction industry or excel in the industry.

7. Give examples of instances where they have been an advocate for women in the construction industry.
