WOMEN IN CONSTRUCTION EXCELLENCE AWARD
Award Description
This individual award is to recognize a woman, who is employed by a member of the association, who has made a meaningful impact on the construction industry through their leadership, community involvement, career achievements, support of other women, and other notable accomplishments towards improving the industry as a whole.

Criteria
This award will be presented to an individual who is or was a member of the association. The recipient will be approved by a vote of the MNECA Board of Directors.
- Any representative of a member firm, in good standing, may propose a candidate by submitting a nomination that sets out the relevant particulars of the individual’s career and their noteworthy contributions.
- Is an industry advocate that promotes construction as a career for women.
- Exemplifies leadership as they guide teams and influences their company’s success.
- Supports the greater community and / or our region by making meaningful contributions by way of their time, talent and/or resources.
- Highlight their business achievements by citing specific milestones that demonstrate excellence and innovation.
- List key initiatives, programs, and/or support that they have participated in or implemented to empower other women to join the construction industry or excel in the industry.
- Give examples of instances where they have been an advocate for women in the construction industry.
